The Nebraska Presbyterian Foundation accepts grant applications during two annual grant cycles:
SPRING GRANT CYCLE
NEBRASKA PCUSA CHURCHES & RELATED ORGANIZATIONS
Is there an outreach project your congregation has dreamed of starting
but lacked the financial resources to get it off the ground?
Does your congregation already have a mission project you're ready to expand for broader impact?
Nebraska Presbyterian churches and related organizations (PCUSA) may apply for grants for the support and benefit of new or ongoing outreach activities which enhance or expand some aspect of their ministry and mission into their neighborhood and community.
Applicants may submit an online Letter of Intent (LOI) December 1-31, 2022, through our grant portal. All applicants will be notified by January 15, 2023, if they are eligible to complete the full grant application. Eligible applicants must submit the full grant application by February 15, 2023. Spring Grants will be awarded April 2023.
FALL GRANT CYCLE
HUMAN SERVICES ORGANIZATION IN LANCASTER & PLATTE COUNTIES
Human services organizations in Lancaster and Platte counties in Nebraska who work to meet the needs of vulnerable populations, with preference to the elderly, and whose programs create pathways toward greater self-sufficiency and empowerment may apply for grants for the support and benefit of programs and projects which strengthen their mission and community. Due to the impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations and the organizations who serve them, we will accept applications for general operating grants during the 2022 Fall Grant Cycle.
Applicants may submit an online Letter of Intent (LOI) June 1-15, 2022, through our grant portal. All applicants will be notified by July 1, 2022, if they are eligible to complete the full grant application. Eligible applicants must submit the full grant application by July 31, 2022. Fall Grants will be awarded October 2022.
All applicants must have current 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status to be eligible for funding. Grants are made to provide partial support for a program or project. Preference is given to projects or programs that demonstrate broad funder support. Applicant must show that the program or project can be sustained after the grant period without additional funding from Nebraska Presbyterian Foundation and have clearly stated and achievable objectives and timeframes. Organizations may not submit multiple applications in a grant cycle. Organizations who are awarded a grant must skip a year before reapplying for another grant.
